Meet our team

Isaac Gray

Head Pastor

Rev. Gray received his Masters in Divinity from Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY in 2008. He was then ordained at his home church in Afton, TN, shortly after graduating seminary. He and his family came to SCPC in July of 2014 after pastoring the Pineville CP church in Arkansas for 6 years. Isaac, his wife Susan,  and his two children, Caleb and Sarah, are excited to be in Smithville doing the work God has given them!

Riley Young

Youth Pastor & Media Coordinator

Riley received his Bachelors in Human Ecology from TTU in 2016. There, he studied Child Development and Family Relations, and it was then he developed a love for working with youth and their families. Currently, Riley is working on his Masters in Youth and Young Adult Ministry at Memphis Theological Seminary and is seeking ordination soon. Riley has been a life-long member of this church, and his greatest desire is to continue serving his church by helping grow disciples through Christ’s power. Riley is married to his beautiful wife, Mykaela, and they have recently welcomed their twin children, Kiah and Olive, into the world! The Youngs hope to continue serving God and His people in love through the ministries of Smithville CPC for many years to come!

Myra Reffue

Children's Ministry Director & Food Ministry Coordinator

Myra began serving this church long before she was hired. Myra is a life-long member of Smithville CPC, and seeks to serve her church and community through teaching and showing the love of God to children and their families. She also serves as our food ministry director, where she coordinates, orders, and packs monthly food boxes for those suffering food insecurity in our hometown.  Myra is married to her high school sweetheart, Blake, and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Lily and Savannah.

Sammye Frazier

Administrative Assistant

Looking for the real “boss” of the church? Well, look no further! Sammye has long served the congregation of Smithville CPC. Before becoming the administrative assistant in 2006, Sammye was playing the organ for our church at the age of 15! Beyond that, she has grown and raised her family in this church, where 3 generations still attend today! The love Sammye has for God and our church is apparent in everything she does, and she desires to continue His work for years to come.

Our Elders

Elders are the immediate representatives of the people, elected by them to share with ministers in the government and leadership of the church. They should encourage the people by word and example to share in the worship, study, witness and service of the church through a faithful stewardship of their time, talents, and money.
