Here are answers to some commonly asked questions before your visit!
What Do I Wear?
There is no right or wrong way to dress for our services. Most individuals dress casually with a few individuals in their “Sunday Best”. Bottom line: all are welcome just as they are!
What About Taking Communion?
Holy communion is observed every first Sunday of the month in our blended worship service. This is an open communion, meaning as long as you believe in and trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are welcome to join us at the table! You do not need to be a member of our church or even the Cumberland Presbyterian denomination.
What is "First Sunday Worship?"
Typically we hold two worship services each Sunday morning, a contemporary service at 8:45 A.M. and traditional service at 11:00 A.M. Once a month, on the first Sunday of the month, we will hold one combined worship service at 10:00 A.M. with Sunday School beginning at 9:00 A.M.
What Does a Worship Service Consist Of?
Each worship service consists of a time of preparation, worship songs, prayers, offering, and the hearing of God's Word. Service times last between an hour and an hour and fifteen minutes.
